Loukas Karamanos is an award-recognized photographer and visual storyteller known for his refined editorial style and cinematic approach to wedding photography. Based in Cyprus and working internationally, he has built a reputation for capturing love stories with authenticity, elegance, and emotional depth.
Blending influences from photojournalism, fashion, and commercial photography, Loukas has developed a distinctive visual language that transforms weddings into timeless visual narratives. His work goes beyond documenting moments — it captures the atmosphere, the subtle emotions, and the powerful connection between people.
Loukas believes that the most meaningful photographs are created through genuine connection. For him, every couple has a unique story waiting to be told. His approach is deeply personal: he invests time in understanding each couple, their personalities, their vision, and the energy of their relationship. This connection allows him to create images that feel natural, intimate, and artistically elevated.
Over the years, Loukas has collaborated with some of the most prominent media organizations, magazines, and television channels in Cyprus and Greece, photographing major cultural and entertainment events, including the internationally renowned MAD Music Awards in Athens. His work has also extended into cinematic production, directing and producing music videos and visual projects featured on MAD TV, Greece’s leading music television network.
In 2012, Loukas founded Studio KARAMANOS, which has since grown into a multidisciplinary creative hub for photography and film production. The studio operates alongside BOXSTUDIOCY, a professional production and photography studio in Limassol that offers high-end visual services for weddings, advertising campaigns, corporate productions, editorial work, and live broadcast projects.
Through his work, Loukas continues to push the boundaries of modern wedding photography, combining fine-art aesthetics, editorial direction, and cinematic storytelling to create images that feel both contemporary and timeless. His photographs are not simply memories — they are visual experiences designed to be cherished for generations.

Why i chose to do this
It always felt the right thing to do, be a photographer. There is nothing more enjoyable than bringing happiness to a couple when they get to see their love story imprinted.
